EK61 Opal Pendant by Esben Klint

Designed in 1961, but first put into production now, Esben Klint’s EK61 Opal Pendant profiles elegant and refined design. Originally conceived in pleated plastic, which proved too complicated to produce at the time, it is now reimagined in careful combination of classic materials.

To celebrate Hans J. Wegner’s more than 70 years of collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn, the company is now expanding its collaboration with London-based designer Ilse Crawford to include the Wishbone Chair in nine new colors.

Always taking their point of departure in the history of the building as well as the surrounding landscape, Framework Studio created a contemporary family home true to tradition.

Carl Hansen & Søn and EOOS present the Embrace Sofa – a flexible, modular sofa with a distinctive wooden frame that unites a stringent geometric expression with flexible, unrivaled comfort and craftsmanship.

Carl Hansen & Søn is now expanding its collaboration with Danish designer Rikke Frost and launching the Petal Lamp, which has a simple, sculptural expression and is distinguished by its ability to create mood lighting.

Renowned for his high quality and elegant furniture, Danish designer Ole Wanscher is inextricably linked to the characteristic, simple aesthetics and functionality of the Danish design movement. His OW58 T-Chair from 1958 is now relaunched by Carl Hansen & Søn in a perfect marriage of deep respect for materials, craftsmanship and function.

As the pandemic prevents us from face-to-face meetings at design events throughout the globe, we have taken up the digital challenge to create an informative and inspiring online event, where we will present our novelties and inspiring talks with international heavy weights from the world of design + an exclusive visit to our workshop in Denmark and a sneak peek into the private residence of Knud Erik Hansen, CEO of Carl Hansen & Søn.

Crafted in FSC™-certified mahogany, the CH24 Wishbone Chair and CH337 and CH338 tables are now offered in the exclusive and noble wood. Treated with water-based oil to accentuate the grain and protect from spills, the mahogany tables and chair have a beautiful surface with reddish-brown hues, oiled for a natural and protective finish.

Carl Hansen & Søn now presents the BM0488S Table Bench - a shorter version of Børge Mogensen's famous bench with the characteristic woven seat, understated details, and precise craftsmanship. The series has thus become even more flexible.

Carl Hansen & Søn and DUX are launching a bed based on Børge Mogensen's daybed which, with its simple design and compelling choice of materials, combines the best of two worlds - DUX's expertise in sleeping comfort, and Carl Hansen & Søn's tradition for superb craftsmanship and design.

With its modern shape and classic design, the asymmetric Sideways Sofa invites conversation. The sofa, now launched by Carl Hansen & Søn, was designed by Danish designer Rikke Frost.

Danish design duo Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm – who have achieved worldwide recognition for their unique aesthetics and sculptural understanding – are now joining Carl Hansen & Søn’s collection of classic designer furniture with their flexible and timeless FK Bookcase System.

Nanna Ditzel was one of the first designers to give serious thought to children’s needs. This led to the creation of her iconic high chair in 1954, in collaboration with her husband, furniture designer Jørgen Ditzel. Carl Hansen & Søn is now reintroducing this elegant and functional furniture piece which blends in perfectly with other designer furniture in the home.

Carl Hansen & Søn is expanding its Børge Mogensen collection with a flexible storage system that has never been in production before. In collaboration with Børge Mogensen's family, Carl Hansen & Søn has given life to the furniture designer's forgotten drawings. The result is an expandable shelving system that can be rebuilt, built on, and adapted to individual storage needs and changing room sizes.

During his long career, Hans J. Wegner managed to create up to 500 chairs, many of which are part of the Carl Hansen & Søn collection. Now his elegant CH78 Lounge Chair, nicknamed the Mama Bear, is added to Carl Hansen & Søn’s exclusive collection.

The new MO Series is Carl Hansen & Søn’s first collaboration with Danish designer Mads Odgård. The series is based on simple shapes that symbolize the comforting effect that light has on people. In their own discreet way, the lamps complement Carl Hansen & Søn’s furniture collection and retell the story of Danish design.

Baron House

Comfortably located in the lush Swedish countryside atop the footprint of old farms, Baron House is a new construction built by British architect John Pawson boasting white interiors, light and organic furniture.

Set inside a complex of historic buildings near Girona, Spain, Palau de Casavells by Luis Sendino and Jacobo Valentí is an eclectic combination of vernacular architecture, unique art and Scandinavian touches.

Note Design Studio re-imagined Summit House, a 1925 building in the heart of London blending a striking Art Deco façade and a pre-functionalist style of modernism called Swedish Grace with Nordic design.

The Catalan sculptor created a maze of arches and niches that inspired his monolithic creations. See how his world becomes the perfect stage for the iconic design of Hans J. Wegner in a seamless visual co-existence.

Restaurant NOVI

Espresso bar by day, cocktail bar with pop-up kitchens by night, the wonderfully relaxing Restaurant Novi has quickly become a new favorite meeting spot in central Cambridge.

The owners of the boutique hotel SP34 have taken hospitality to new heights using furniture so alluring that they invite for touching, along with an open façade that draws the street into the building.

Sumptuous rays of daylight, a delicate balance between white, black and gray, and high-quality furniture has transformed a 1929 South Africa cottage into a coherent multi-units home.

In his highly productive career, Hans J. Wegner, the world-famous furniture designer, created some of the world’s best chairs.

The exceptionally beautiful Podernuovo srl Società Agricola vineyard lies around 100 km southeast of Siena, surrounded by undulating landscape filled with old olive trees and grapevines stretching as far as the eye can see.

Inspired by the nearby 1848 Thorvaldsen's Musem created by architect Gotlieb Bindesbøll, the interior team created a distinct color universe to complement the Danish Golden Age furniture style of the hotel.

Stripping the dilapidated Edwardian department store back to its raw state revealed a decayed grandeur and an extraordinary commitment to craft by the original artisans of the day, which inform Squire and Partner's new Brixton headquarters.
