Neglected for some time, the historic Kazimierz district in Kraków today boasts a new address dedicated to contemporary hospitality: the hotel PURO Kraków. The creative reawakening of the area has spawned a number of hip cafes and bars together with a web of art galleries. Within the pulsating heart of this new vibrant neighborhood, British architect and interior design practice Conran & Partners have embraced pure craftsmanship and iconic designs to furnish the hotel.

The rooms feature a series of Hans J. Wegner’s CH88 chairs upholstered in leather with black frames and backrests while other lodgings include CH22 lounge chairs or CH24 Wishbone Chairs.

Bigger suites offer dining areas complemented with Wishbone Chairs embellished by individual curations of modern visual art, created by the young talent from Kazimierz and across the continent.

The common areas housed inside ASW Architects’ stripped-back brickwork building encourage guests to sleep, work or play exploiting the comfort of Hans Wegner’s icons, the CH24 to name but one, scattered around lounges, dining corners, and the breakfast area.
